The solar panel motor we sell is a new-generation device that follows the movement of the sun. This solar tracker motor for home use provides sufficient mechanical energy to drive a panel with different loads.
Thanks to this motor unit, your solar panel follows the position of the sun throughout the day. However, it does not depend on this position to rotate. The motorisation kit is designed to continue its trajectory even if the sun is hidden by clouds!
Your panel rotates as the sun moves until it sets. The solar tracker then returns it to its initial position. This mechanism optimises efficiency by 20 to 25%!
Solar motors for private use are designed for outdoor use, protected from the rain. The system made available by Mouvements Phénix works perfectly in isolated sites, in rural areas and in urban areas. Like a modern electric motor, our solar motor is manufactured in compliance with European industrial standards, which increases its lifespan.
The solar motor attaches to the underside of the panel you want to move, or to a base on the ground or high up. The embedded management programme is integrated into an internal electronic board. This home-made solar tracker covers the 4 seasons of the year, with rotation angles that adapt to the degree of sunlight. Everything is regulated by an internal clock.
The times are stored in the clock’s internal battery.
The motorisation kit comes with accessories such as a 5 m power cable. It can also be disengaged, to prevent damage to the solar panel motor mechanism in the event of excessive pressure. The mechanism automatically resets itself after a strong gust of wind, without any intervention from the user.
